Steen Jørgensen Sort Sol
This portrait of Sort Sol lead singer Steen Jørgensen was done a few years back for the Danish newspaper Politiken’s monthly supplement.
I got to pick 10 Danish celebrities with a strong personal style – not the worst conditions.
It was a cold winter day & we shot outside using this rusty iron wall I pass on my daily bike ride north of Copenhagen.
He overheard me asking the assistant for a light test but stepped in himself & it was just perfect. So cool & nice to work with.
By chance his friend the actor Thomas Bo Larsen from the movie Festen directed by Danish director Thomas Vinterberg was next. Just a great day & one of my favorite images.
